Adding head studs can prevent a lifted head or a failed head gasket due to stretched factory head bolts. The XDP X220 Head Studs are the perfect upgrade for your Cummins. Each stud is constructed with 8740 chromoly steel with an added proprietary element. Threads are rolled after heat treating to provide optimum fatigue strength. This stud kit is rated at 225,000+psi tensile strength and 205,00+psi yield strength to make sure your heads stay locked into place.
