Due to the poor design process of keying drive gears on the Duramax crank shaft, a random light vibration can be found during idle. This is found after dampers spin on the crank shaft snout by shearing the factory key. If you were to continue driving with this issue it can raise concerns in regards to harsh harmonics and balancing of the crank shaft.
