H&S Performance Software Unlock, Dodge (2006-07) 5.9L Cummins

H&S Performance is proud to announce the "OVERDRIVE" software. A finely tuned engine is worthless if that power cannot be transferred to the ground. In order to meet the high horsepower and torque output of the 5.9 Cummins engine, we have modified the transmission tuning software to better "put the power to the ground". The H&S Overdrive software is specifically tailored to H&S engine tuning software, and will ensure that you get the best performance and reliability out of your transmission. The 5.9L "Overdrive" software includes modified torque converter lock / unlock strategies that will command the TC to lock in 3rd gear under wide open throttle and hold it locked through 4th gear. Shift points are also modifed to take advantage of the available HP and torque output from the 5.9L Cummins. On a stock 2006 Dodge Ram, we have shown a 0.2 to 0.3 second lower 1/4 mile time from adding JUST the H&S "Overdrive" tuning. Light throttle torque converter strategies are also changed to lock-up sooner, keeping more power directed to the road instead of wasted in heat and friction. Black Maxx, Mini Maxx, and XRT Pro owners will have the ability to use their existing units to load the H&S Overdrive Transmission software. Using the H&S downloads section, you will simply update your tuner (Black Maxx or Mini Maxx) to the latest software level (from the H&S website). Once the tuner is updated, the transmission tuning software is ready to be unlocked. After this software is purchased, you will receive an e-mail from H&S Performance containing your H&S Overdrive Unlock Code.
