This kit is the solution to the 6.5 Turbo Diesel overheating issues. From the factory the cooling system was barely adequate for regular driving, so any kind of weight would drive the engine temperature beyond the 210 mark. With this kit you'll be able to work the truck hard, and keep the engine under 210 no matter what you're doing.
This Super Cool Kit is not a production pump, and is unique to us at Heath Diesel, as is the HD Fan Clutch. This combination is vastly superior to any of the factory production water pumps or fan clutches, including the famous HO Water Pump from the later model dual thermostat trucks. The water pump and fan clutch in this kit have proprietary modifications done to them, which is why they work as well as they do. They simply fix the overheating issues, completely. Even if you're towing 20,000 uphill on a hot summer day with the a/c on, the Super Cool Kit will keep the engine under 210.
We have done vigorous testing with these trucks, running digital gauges on each side of the engine. We have tested combinations with electric fans, factory dual thermostat systems, and many more different combinations. The Super Cool Kit is the only one that can completely solve the overheating issues these engines are plagued with, and it's what we run on all of our own 6.5's.
