Switch Assembly & Washer Alignment Tip

The SOTF/DSP5 switch has a nut and two washers. The bottom smooth washer must always remain on the bottom with the tab located in hole number five. If it slips out during installation, follow these steps:

• Turn the switch fully counterclockwise.


• Reinstall the washer with the tab pinned into hole five.


• Verify the switch moves exactly four clicks clockwise from the counterclockwise position.


• If not correct, return to full counterclockwise, adjust washer position, and try again until smooth four-click operation is confirmed.

This ensures precise alignment so your switch tracks all positions correctly every time.
