The AVP Non-EBPV Turbo Outlet is a high-flow, bolt-on replacement for the restrictive factory post-turbo butterfly (Exhaust Backpressure Valve, or EBPV) on all 1999–2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke trucks running stock GT38 or GTP38 turbos—or the Garrett GTP38R as well as most GT38/GTP38 based after market turbos.
Engineered for improved airflow and power, this all-new cast housing eliminates the built-in restriction and moving components of the original EBPV. The result? Lower exhaust gas temperatures (up to 100°F drop in EGT), reduced back pressure, and noticeably faster turbo spool-up for a snappier throttle feel under load. Unlike gutted or home-modded stock units, every AVP outlet is made new for clean sealing and reliable performance.
Installs in place of the factory EBPV butterfly—simply unbolt your old assembly and bolt this unit on. For maximum results, pair with a non-EBV turbo pedestal (available separately).
